They arrested a man who wanted to throw grenades at Times Square

A man who was preparing a grenade attack in the middle of Times Square, one of New York's most iconic and touristy places, was arrested on Thursday, the newspaper reported. New York Daily News.

The man was planning to buy grenades when he was arrested by an operation of the FBI Joint Task Force on Terrorism and the New York Police Department.

The identity of this suspect is still unknown and the security forces suspect this man to act alone, which is called a "lone wolf".

The man is expected to be presented Friday in federal court in Brooklyn, the newspaper said.
