César Milani, arrested for crimes against humanity and prosecuted for illicit enrichment, in a case where fraudulent maneuvers against the state are the subject of an investigation at the benefit of Acrow Corporation of America. He also asked Brigadier General Rodolfo Brocca to be questioned.

According to the prosecutor, the fraud allegedly occurred through the purchase of metal bridges in the United States by the Army, for an amount of $ 1,495,033, exceeding the maximum amounts fixed by law for this category of operations outside. The badumption of the investigation is that the company was overpaid and was chosen without price confirmation. The cause was initiated from an anonymous report in 2017.

Milani signed at the end of 2014 a resolution authorizing, in exceptional cases, the military attaché of Argentina in the United States (Brocca) to commit only for this call for tenders to a maximum 1500 modules. This resolution changed the maximum set by another resolution of the same year, which established that the maximum amount allowed for contractual acts abroad was 1100 modules.

Milani is detained in the military field of Campo de Mayo for being considered one of the leaders of the
abduction and torture against Pedro Olivera, Ramón Alfredo Olivera and Verónica Matta. The trial for this case, which is underway in La Rioja, will begin on May 3rd.

He will also be tried on May 16 by the courts of Tucumán for the disappearance of the soldier Alberto Ledo in that province in 1976. He is also tried for illicit enrichment, case of the judge Daniel Rafecas.
