Colangelo participated in a contest organized by the digital platform Airbnb and the NGO Wonder Grottole, which will offer you the opportunity to live, between June and August, in the Italian city of Grottole, province of Matera.

In addition to the stay, the winners will be able to learn Italian, participate in the management of a community garden and prepare typical local dishes with ingredients grown with their own hands.

Grottole is not only another city: it is currently fighting to avoid mbadive emigration and to prosper economically. The arrival of the five elected officials and all the publicity that ensues are therefore a favorable event for the region.

According to the newspaper Clarín, Colangelo is a software engineer and was selected from 40,000 Argentinian participants, which was the second country in which more competitors scored, behind the United States.

The winners

Pablo Colangelo (35 years old). The only Argentine chosen is a software engineer. Although he has Italian roots, Pablo was born and raised in Buenos Aires. This will be your first experience of living in a small town.

Anne Tachado (24 years old). She is a Filipino photographer with extensive experience in volunteering. She has a degree in agriculture and has been living in Melbourne since the age of 17.

Helena Warren (45 years old). He is a cultural guide to Canada. Until the age of 7, he grew up on a houseboat in British Columbia. Today, it is dedicated to tourism and introduces travelers to tango in Argentina.

Remo Sciubba (62 years old). Former project manager from Abruzzo, a region located in central Italy. He discovered his pbadion for languages ​​and is dedicated to teaching them full time.

Darrel Pistone (61 years old). Former firefighter of New York. He recently learned that his grandparents are from Grottole.
