They created a machine that repairs broken screens of smartphones in 10 minutes

As part of the MWC 2019, a machine system to repair broken mobile phone screens was introduced. The product is called gTool DRS and is exhibited at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

It was created by Vincent Gioffre, American engineer and marketed by the German company Black Rock Mobile. The system serves to separate the broken glbad from the screen of any smartphone, without damaging the panel.

These are two machines. One is responsible for freezing the glbad screen to separate it from the device, thanks to a Helium Stirling engine at cryogenic temperatures up to -180 ºC.

The second step is to glue the new glbad on another machine combining vacuum, heat and pressure. Its main function is to fix the screen on the computer.

The system is connected to a mobile application that controls pressure and time related values ​​for each cell phone model. The first device takes between 3 and 8 minutes, depending on the smartphone, to do its job. The second, between 8 and 10 minutes.

If the repair machine detects that a glbad panel is used (each worth 10 euros) that does not match the equipment, blocks the process.

Both machines and the compressor are sold 10,000 euros. On the part of the company that markets it, they said it was a cost price. Your company must distribute defective device parts to the companies that repair them.
