They dropped a camera at 650 meters deep in Antarctica and the video is impressive

A group of researchers drilled a 650-meter well in Antarctica to place a camera, to study the effects of global warming on the site.

The operation was performed on the Filchner barrier. Once the drilling was complete, the researchers presented the camera and the captured images were then published by Johannes Lohse, of the University of Birmingham, on his Instagram account.

Lohse participates in the FISS project (Filchner Ice Shelf System) whose objective is to study the impact of global warming on this ice shelf and ocean level rise rate, said RT.

With the camera, a measuring device was placed in the well to collect data on temperature and ocean currents under the platform. The drilling was done with a hot water drill.
