Colombian security forces have found the body of Yuddith Alexandra Anaya Pacheco, sister of former and influential prosecutor Yajaira Cáceres Pacheco, with signs of severe beatings and traces of possible strangulation.

The remains of Anaya, 33, were found in the San Martín neighborhood in Bogotá. The young woman would have disappeared for about 12 hours before being murdered, as revealed by the first indications obtained by the agents.

Lawyer Marlos Díaz said the vehicle in which she was allegedly transferred has already been identified, in addition to the last two people who had contact with her. However, the owner of the vehicle assured that on the day of the disappearance, he had lent the car to a relative, according to information from the newspaper “El Tiempo”.
