Dani is a dog who was found closed with tape and cut neck. The terrible discovery took place in Ohio.

The animal has been moved by a local veterinarian where it improves daily, according to CNN.

"We will not tolerate this period of action. Neither now nor ever, "sheriff Richard Jones said Friday in a tweet.

Dani had a flea that responded to the Cincinnati shelter. Now the police are investigating the case and asking the community for help to find out who caused such damage to Dani.

"It's terrible, words can not describe the disgust I currently feel, we'll work diligently to find out who did this and ask for justice," Jones said in a statement.
