They had their children locked in a cage and covered with feces: the scary case of child abuse discovered in Texas

United States police rescued four children living in a barn in Texas. After being alerted by a domestic brawl, the agents arrived at the scene, but they discovered an unexpected situation: two small locked in a dog cage and two others were covered with excrement and urine.

The case was discovered by the agents Tuesday morning, after they were mobilized on the spot by a call signaling the fight between the couple who lived in this house.

When they arrived home and started a conversation with the man and the woman, the Conservatives heard children's voices. They first saw two little ones, one and three years old, and then noticed the presence in the cage for two, four and five years.

Wise County Deputy Chief Craig Johnson said the children were taken to the Cook Medical Center in Forth Worth for examination. "Lock up a child at any time in a dog cage it's unacceptable"he told the American network NBC.

For his part, Sheriff Lane Akin said, "There was a lot of food in the barn, but the refrigerator and cabinets were locked so the kids they could not go get food"

While the four little ones were taken care of, the adults they were arrested for four counts of child danger and transferred to Wise County Prison.

The couple was identified as Andrew Joseph Fabila and Paige Isabow Harkings, both 24 years old. The woman is the mother of the four children, while the man who had cuts on the face when he was arrested, he is his father.
