As it was officially reported, the criminal charge was requested by Attorney General Carlos Amad, “in connection with the actions which began on December 13, when the plane, an aircraft of Piper Aircraft Inc, valued of $ 1,469.00, landed at Martín Miguel Güemes International Airport, Salta, under the command of pilot Curt Arnspiger, belonging to the company Globe Aero ”.

At the hearing, the prosecutor Amad explained that the pilot of the ship, arrived without crew or passengers, did not present to the staff of the General Directorate of Customs (DGA) the General Declaration that all foreign aircraft must issue, as established. by article 160 of the customs code.

The representative of the prosecution argued that, in view of this situation, Sebastián Boso showed up at the local airport as the pilot of the aircraft in the national territory and explained that the aircraft was imported for consumption. Just like Rubén Delgado, the accountant of Olmedo, who pointed out that the businessman had acquired the plane on August 22, 2020, while maintaining that the transfer of the plane was the responsibility of Globe Aero.

Amad also claimed that he did not have a formal statement justifying the ship’s arrival in Salta, as its landing was only a technical stopover. The lawyer Tomás Cornejo Dubois, defender of Olmedo, rejected the existence of the offense mentioned by the prosecution, while insisting on the fact that it dealt with the inconveniences committed by the company in charge of the transfer of the plane acquired by his client.

The lawyer listed various documents on the business transaction, including the purchase invoice, worth $ 1,469,000, the payment of VAT to AFIP for an amount of more than 13 million pesos, as well as ‘another payment of $ 26,800 for the transfer of the vessel.

He ruled out a malicious act by his client and claimed that in the worst case, he could have incurred a ticket that did not correspond to Olmedo, but to the officials of the company Globe Aero, who he said should be on hand. ‘hearing. .

Coinciding with the prosecutor, Cornejo Dubois requested that the authorization be issued for the transfer of the plane to Buenos Aires, in order to end the registration procedures and thus clarify the whole situation, while emphasizing the fact that the aircraft needs maintenance.
