A powerful group of the anti-terrorist unit of the federal police went in the early hours of the morning in the Abasto region, where a couple of Iranian nationals entered Argentina with fake pbadports and pretending to be Israeli citizens, was arrested on Tuesday.

After their arrest, the suspects claimed to have escaped from their country by Turkey and continued their journey to Greece, where they were reportedly expelled as illegal, although they managed to to go to Spain, where they would have obtained the falsified pbadports with which they claimed to be a couple. This is not the first time that couples of Iranian origin are trying to enter our country in hiding. Something similar happened a few days before the G-20 summit, when an Iranian couple who had come from Bolivia by an unauthorized pbad was arrested in the city of Salta.
