Doctors at the University of Florida’s School of Veterinary Medicine in the United States operated on a three-meter crocodile to remove a shoe from its stomach.
Apparently the reptile, called Anuket, swallowed the shoe after it fell on him, whenor someone lost their shoes while going down a zipline in a zoo of this state.
Although at first the crocodile vomited the shoe, he swallowed it again. When reporting the incident, the vets made the decision to want to make the crocodile vomit, again. However, they failed and had to exploit it.
The video shows how the vets tied the reptile to the stretcher to transfer it to the operating room. Likewise, they kept him on the operating table so that his shoe could be removed.
According to the vets, the surgery was a success and it remains only to wait for the crocodile to fully recover from the surgery.
The shoe that was taken off was photographed by surgeons and can be seen how it was all tinted green and full of stomach fluids from the crocodile.
