The Hungarian mayor, Zsolt Borkai (54), he was involved in a scandal after the broadcast of a video in which he is seen participating in an orgy aboard a luxury yacht in the Mediterranean Sea, which was sailing in the Adriatic Sea in front of the Dubrovnik Coast, Croatia.

The incident occurred last week, just days before the end of his reelection campaign for Sunday's municipal elections. This does not prevent Borkai from winning another mayor's term.

Zsolt Borkai, a father with two children, had been running Győr, the sixth largest city in Hungary since 2006, as an ally of the conservative nationalist prime minister. Viktor Orban.

The video, first published on a blog and then on adult websites, including Pornhub, shows Borkai with a friend, who appears to be his lawyer, accompanied by bottles of alcohol and several young women in bikini. The blog also accused the mayor of corruption, drug abuse and prostitution payment.

At first, Borkai denied that the person in the video was him: "I believe the lies published about me are part of an opposition campaign aimed at diverting attention from their own incompetence", he said last week in a statement Hungary today.

But a few days later, the mayor admitted his participation: "The published recordings that portray me were made years ago", he told a local television channel. "Some images are manipulated, others are authentic". Although he apologized for the video, he denied the allegations of money laundering, hiring prostitutes and cocaine use.

After several days of silence, Borkai announced a "Extraordinary press conference" scheduled for Friday night amid rumors of his resignation. However, an hour before the press conference, he repented.

He then posted a photo of him and his family on Facebook, showing them all four side by side at a Saturday rock concert. "We persevere, for better or for worse"said the photo.

The next day he won the elections. Before Borkai's surprising victory, Orbán should expel him from his Fidesz political party. But until now, the Prime Minister has not said anything about it.
