They turned Dracula’s castle into a vaccination center – News

Bran Castle in Romania, popularly known as ‘Dracula’s Castle’, has been turned into a Covid-19 vaccination center, in addition to being a museum.

It will work as a vaccination only on weekends, for a month, although the schedule can be extended, depending on demand. The vaccine they will apply there will be Pfizer brand, according to the Romanian newspaper Freedom.

Built in the 14th century by the Romanians as a fortress to protect against invasion by the Ottoman Turks, the site occasionally housed Vlad III and has 60 rooms.

It is strategically located on a cliff to keep an eye out for enemies approaching along the road below that connected Transylvania to southern Romania.

The rooms are connected by underground passages, in which there are weapons, armor, antique furniture and objects from the 14th to the 19th century. Access to the exhibition of medieval torture instruments is free.

Bran Castle served for many years as a royal residence and was donated by the people of Brasov to Queen Maria of Romania.

Representatives of the castle, made famous by Bram Stoker who installed his Gothic novel there, have announced that those who choose to be vaccinated will receive a “Bran Castle Vaccination Certificate”.

The other tourist attractions converted into a pandemic were amusement parks. Disney has turned its centers in Paris and California into coronavirus vaccinations.
