In April 2016, Mercosur's new patents for cars and 0-kilometer motorcycles began to apply.
However, after a little more than 2 years of circulation, the various national registers of automobile ownership began to receive complaints from users manifesting obvious manufacturing defects (loss of paint and discoloration, among others) of patent sheets
For this reason, the management of this entity has issued a statement to managers and auditors on how to proceed in these cases.
What to do?
The first step is to go to the registry where the vehicle bearing the damaged registration plates is registered. There, the replacement order will be made through the application form "TP", which, according to the declaration, is free for the user.
In exchange, the vehicle owner will receive temporary paper plates that should be glued to the windshield and rear window. They are valid for one month but can be renewed as long as the new ones are not delivered. Although in this case, it will be essential to reappear in the registry.
Meanwhile, the damaged patents are sent to the Office of calligraphic expertise of the Directorate, where the origin of the procedure is evaluated. If the replacement matches, the Dominion Command will ask the Casa de Moneda Sociedad del Estado supplier to replace the same set of deteriorated plates (if it was the original, a new original will be issued).
Finally, the user must be notified by the corresponding registry staff once he is available for removal.
