This is a black hole: scientists have revealed the first picture

The image was captured after an April 2017 observation campaign in which More than 207 researchers from 58 institutions in 18 united countries in the project Horizon Telescope Event (EHT)said one of the scientists who participated in the initiative in Santiago.

"Take a moment and enjoy it, it's the moment we've been waiting for a century", said at a press conference Geoffrey Crew, member of the EHT team.

"Even if we knew about it, we had never seen it, we must see to believe and now we can see it", he added.
