The Japanese government has provided support to Hiromitsu Nakauchi's scientific team, which will seek to create animal embryos containing human cells and transplant them to replace them after being denied. Permission to conduct their experiments early in the year.

Dr. Nakauchi, who heads the laboratories of the Universities of Tokyo, Stanford and California, explains that this plan aims to produce organs in the future so that they can be transplanted into the human being.

Until last March, the aforementioned Asian country banned such tests, but in August the Ministry of Education and Science of Japan issued new guidelines.

Nakauchi says that he plans to proceed slowly and will not attempt to terminate hybrid embryos for some time. Initially, he plans to cultivate hybrid mouse embryos up to 14.5 days, by the time the animal's organs are mostly formed and almost complete.

According to the plan, the biologists will reformulate the genes of the fertilized eggs of rats and mice, thus blocking the mechanism of creation of the pancreas. Then, they will be equipped with induced pluripotent stem cells (iPS), taken from humans, that can be transformed into any tissue and inserted into the bowels of these rodents.

He will do the same experiments in rats, growing hybrids in the short term, about 15.5 days. Some time later, he plans to seek government approval to grow hybrids on pigs for 70 days.
