Today begins the Children's and Youth Fair, the only publishing sector that stings on the tip

For the second consecutive year, the


Children's Book Fair and Juvenile
will have three places: coincidentally with the beginning of the winter holidays in the interior, today opens its doors in the CCK and in the Cultural Center Dardo Rocha, of La Plata, and on Thursday 12, in Tecnópolis. With free entry and many activities, the fair will continue until Sunday 29.

The 280 edition adds exhibitors and proposals for young audiences, which is getting stronger every time in the big fair. This year, at the CCK, you can visit the stands of more than 90 stamps. In La Plata, meanwhile, about 50 exhibitors meet; among them, ten local bookstores. And on the Tecnópolis site, 49 publishers will be gathered in 20 stands, plus a collective bookstore that will have an area devoted to books on indigenous peoples, since part of the new programming of the park will be related to this theme.

Another full-length author who will talk to the public about her creative work is María Verónica Ramírez, who on Saturday, 21, at age 16, in the story-telling room, will invite children to confront the monsters and fears of their Monstrona character. Tomorrow, at 17, the singer Mariana Baggio will present her first book,
Pajarito with stories and songs.

On Saturday 14, two personalities will be present at the CCK. Wally, the little man in a striped shirt and hat that gets lost in the crowd, will play hide and seek among the stands. And the witch Winnie, accompanied by her cat Wilbur, will be the protagonist of an afternoon of readings from 4:15 pm

As every year, the Fair will recognize the broadcasters of children's literature with the Crier Award. The winners will be announced in the federal hall on Thursday 26th at 6pm. In addition, the Book Foundation organizes writing, illustration, comic and digital art competitions for children and teenagers.

• This year, ten local bookstores participate, in addition to 54 stamps. The Cultural Center offers scientific workshops led by Floriciencia, drawings, stories, shows and cinema.

Tecnópolis

• Time: daily, from the 12th to the 20th.
