● 1973. Héctor Cámpora became president, marking the return to power of Peronism after 18 years of prohibition and the end of the dictatorship that began in 1966. ● 2003. Nestor Kirchner assumes the presidency. The governor of Santa Cruz until then receives the fanfare and the cane from the hands of Eduardo Duhalde in Congress.
