Agents of the Investigation Division of the Federal Police on Friday arrested two members of the criminal group La Unión Tepito. "The Alexis" and "The Perky", in a complex of luxury apartments located in the offices of the mayor, Álvaro Obregón.

They were accompanied by two women who had also been arrested and who were apparently the romantic partners of the drug traffickers. Both are under the protection of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR)

Alexis Martinez is designated as the organization's primary financial operator and would be responsible for the cloning of the criminal group's credit cards.

"The Alexis" was also wanted for the disappearance of Karina Morales, with whom he had a romantic relationship, and who disappeared in December of last year without his family having any idea of ​​his place of residence.

The subject that was with him, aka "The perky"He was apparently a drug dealer who worked for the dreaded cartel of the Mexican capital.

Both were in a set of luxury apartments that has green spaces, meeting room, gym, games room, swimming pool and private security. A department like the one they rented has an approximate value of 8 million pesos, while the monthly rent is between 30,000 pesos (USD 1.500)

Both were close to "El Betito "and" El Pistache "who at the time were the maximum leaders of the organization, before their capture.

The two women arrested Friday during the operation were nicknamed in the networks "The brides of the union"

Both have been identified as Valeria "N" and Elizabeth "N"and were supposed to be the romantic partners of some cartel members.

In their respective social networks, young women presume travels, parties, cosmetic surgeries and items of brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior and Lacoste.

In the Facebook group Tepito Morelos Alert they broke down their names and linked them to the disappearance of Karina Itzel Morales, who was supposedly the ex-girlfriend of "El Alexis".

The last place where he was seen was in the Storage, an electronic music festival organized in the State of Mexico.

The following days, their relatives shared their search form on social networks, but members of La Unión Tepito soon called them to threaten them and encourage them to stop publishing. "If Kari was lost, that's because she had been looking for her", told them one of the murderers.
