Tsunami in swimming pool with waves injured 44 people in China

They wanted to have fun and enjoy the summer and that 's why they went to the Shuiyun Water Park in the Chinese city of Longjing. But the joy became terror when suddenly a gigantic wave swept all swimmers and left 44 wounded.

The scene, which took place on Monday, July 29, was recorded by a tourist. In the video you can hear the cries of panic people and it seems that the wave raises them. Several of them were injured when they hit the walls of the pool and collided with other bathers.

As the water park told the newspaper Morning of South China, the "tsunami" it was because of a power failure which caused damage to the machine that generates the waves.

For the moment, the pool is closed by order of the authorities, although the water park is active.
