A new theory about the beginning of time, the Big Bang, could radically change the history of the origin of the Universe. According to a study by Oxford University, the best-known theory about the beginning of the world as we know it, could be wrong and the new hypothesis has caused a bomb in the scientific community around the planet.

According to the study of the British physicist Julian Barbour, the big Bang It would not be the origin of time, but a point from which start two parallel universes that run in opposite directions.
According to the researcher of the theories of quantum gravity, there is “the Janus point” which opens a new theory on the study of time. The report was published in the magazine New scientist and it caused an immediate shock in the scientific community and around the world. The new theory is almost a typical tale of science fiction movies and books: the existence of a Universe parallel the one we live in that travels through space in the opposite direction.
However, Barbour’s theory has the huge drawback that, at the moment, it is impossible to detect this other half of the Universe: simultaneous time. “It is there as a consequence of a fundamental law of nature”, Barbour describes his theory on “El Punto Jano”. According to the specialist, the theory is linked to “entropy”, that is to say to the tendency to disorder.
According to the scientist, “the cosmos would be open” and develops by the remains of what was the Big Bang, the initial explosion that brought all we know to life. Barbour considered that the new discovery could unite the famous theory of relativity of Albert Einstein and the theories of quantum physics.
