Two men were executed in a square for raping and murdering a 12-year-old boy

By decision of the Yemeni justice, Wadah Refat and Mohamed Khaled, aged 28 and 31, were sentenced to death for kidnapping, rape and murder of Mohamed Saad, a 12-year-old boy. They also sentenced a 33-year-old woman, but her execution was postponed due to her pregnancy.

The event took place on a public square in the port city of Aden. A crowd gathered to see the sentence and recorded the events with their mobile phone. The criminals lay on a blanket and were executed with a bullet in the back.

The men captured the boy while he was playing next to the house of one of them and they raped him. In front of Mohamed Saad 's cries of relief, one of them slit his throat with a knife.

A woman, a family member of the attackers, helped dismember the body of the victim. As she is pregnant, her public performance was postponed until the end of the badfeeding period.
