Tyler Honeycutt, a former pro from the NBA and the EuroLeague, has died as a result of a shooting involving officers in Los Angeles, ABC7-Los Angeles reported in the early hours of July 7th.
Honeycutt, an outstanding lyric star in California, who recently played for Russian Khimki in the 2017-18 season. He was 27 years old.

Honeycutt, 27, was ranked # 28 in the outgoing country of Sylmar High School in California. He played basketball for the UCLA Bruins from 2009 to 2011. The Sacramento Kings drafted him with the 35th pick of the 2011 draft. He appeared in 24 games for the Kings in two seasons, spending most of his time at Reno Bighorns, a G-League affiliate.
The Kings traded Honeycutt against the Houston Rockets in 2013. It was quickly dropped, and later this year signed a contract with Ironi Nes Ziona, a team from the Israeli Super League. In 2014, Honeycutt joined Khimki, a professional Russian team, for a two-year contract. He also spent a year playing for Anadolu Efes, a Turkish team, before returning to Khimki in 2017. He averaged 9.2 points and 5.4 rebounds in EuroLeague action last season.
