United Kingdom: Queen Elizabeth II promulgated a law banning Brexit without agreement

After approving Prime Minister Boris Johnson's proposal to suspend Parliament until two weeks before the UK deadline for leaving the European Union, Isabel II gave his Royal Consent (Royal Assent) to a law requiring the executive to request an extension before Brussels if no agreement is reached before 31 October.

The announcement of Royal Assent was released Monday in the House of Lords (Senate), leaving Johnson in a delicate situation. He said that he "would rather be dead in a ditch" before delaying Brexit.

The president has not only lost a majority in parliament because of the change of party of some conservative deputies, but also suffered the resignation of several supporters, from his brother Joe Johnson, as a member of his cabinet, to that of the Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow.

Johnson had requested the suspension of Parliament from September 12 to October 14. Before the break, the Prime Minister expects that the progress of the elections will be approved for the next month in order to have revalidated its mandate to appear in Brussels to negotiate.

But opposition leaders, such as the Labor Party Jeremy Corbyn, had already anticipated that they will oppose Johnson's attempts to advance the elections.

Instead, they would vote on the motion asking the government to publish all internal communications, including private messages between officials of all platforms and applications, to clarify the official preparations for a possible Brexit without agreement .
