A tragic end had a man who went to the movie theater with his wife, who had never imagined that his life would end so unusually.

The man died because his neck was stuck in an electronic footrest of an armchair. His wife said that he was bent over to look for his keys and his mobile phone, fallen in the middle of the film.

On March 9, Ateeq Rafiq and his wife visited a Gold clbad room with electronic seating and badtail service at the Star City Birmingham complex in England.

At one point in the movie, the 24-year-old realized that his keys and cell phone were missing. He then lifted himself from his seat with the footrest in an elevated position and placed under it.

An engineering expert who performed the seat tests told the court that about three quarters of a ton pressed Mr. Rafiq's neck.

Birmingham medical examiners explained that Rafiq's body had turned blue after the accident and that it had been 10 to 15 minutes before his release.

Medical examiner Emma Brown said that his wife tried to hold the footrest when he started to fall on it, but could not press the buttons to stop him.
