Venezuela in crisis: Juan Guaidó will participate Monday in a meeting of the Lima group

Juan Guaidó, the president of the National Assembly of Venezuela and leader of the opposition to Nicolás Maduro, announced Monday its participation in the meeting of the Lima group to be held in Bogotá and called on the international community to consider "all letters" before the Chavez government.

"I will attend (…) this meeting of the Lima group (…) with all the foreign ministers of the region, as well as with the Vice President of the United States, Mike Pence", said Mr. Guaidó, recognized by half a hundred governments. interim of Venezuela, in a statement to the media of the Colombian city of Cucuta.

Guaidó made the announcement after accusing Nicolás Maduro's government of the crackdown that prevented aid shipments from the United States and its allies in Venezuela.

In this sense, he asked the international community "to keep all cards on the table" against Maduro. The Donald Trump government has evoked all options, including the military, to force Maduro to leave power.
