Minister of Communication Jorge Rodríguez, Fanb's commander Vladimir Padrino López, as well as the president of the National Constituent Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, among others, said in the early hours that the base of La Carlota Had not been taken, and that the country's barracks were maintained to support President Nicolás Maduro.

Guaidó baderted that it was the final phase of what he called "the liberation operation". The military attempt had the international public support of the US government, through Mike Pompeo, Colombian President Iván Duque, the Argentine government through Chancellor Jorge Faurie, the secretary of the 39, Organization of American States, Luis Almagro, The President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, among others.

The Spanish government for its part rejected the attempt of violence: "It is clear that Spain does not support any coup d'etat" military.

The new badault appeared with a media force that has no correlation with the military capability on the ground. So far, there has been no response from the opposition population on the streets to support the army.

The situation in Caracas, with the exception of the two epicentres and social networks, offers intense tranquility. Chavismo, meanwhile, began mobilizing at the Miraflores Palace to support President Nicolás Maduro, Democrat, in order to reject the new moment of attempted coup d'état.
