In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that on April 3, the two minors had been transferred by plane, with the body of their mother, to their country of origin.

“The Mexican Ambassador to El Salvador, Ricardo Cantú, received the mother of the deceased and her daughters at the airport in San Salvador and coordinated the delivery of the body of Victoria Salazar to the Salvadoran authorities.”

It should be recalled that on March 31, the Mexican authorities agreed to give a humanitarian visa a Rosibel America Arraiza, mother of the victim, so that she arrives in Mexico to take the corresponding steps to recover Victoria’s body, as well as to see the minors again.

However, on the day she was traveling to Mexico from El Salvador, her granddaughter, 16-year-old Francela Yaritza has been reported missing and was ordered to activate the Amber alert for his location.
