A child was the protagonist of a heroic act, when he rescued two girls trapped by a fire on the balcony of a building on Monday.

The accident occurred in a building in the city of Fokino, in Primorye region, Far East of Russia.

The flames spread so quickly that two girls of 12 and 3 years were forced to take refuge on their small balcony on the sixth floor.

In the street, pbaders-by have prepared a blanket to catch the miners, in case they fall from this height of 20 meters.

Alexei Reznichenko, a 20-year-old seventh-floor neighbor who has just finished her military service, did not hesitate to get involved in saving the girls.

"I had neither fear nor time to think, I saw a lot of smoke and people in the street were panicked, I only knew one thing: two young lives were in my hands, I was the only one who could help them ", Recalled Alexei later.

The young man left his balcony to go one by one to the girls in his apartment. It was a dangerous maneuver, which required not only courage, but also a lot of effort. Reznichenko later said that at one point he was about to fall with one of the miners.

According to firefighters, the fire was extinguished without a victim, thanks to the heroism of Alexei. For their actions, hundreds of network users have asked to be decorated by the authorities.
