Video: Russian bus explosion kills one – News

At least one dead and 18 injured have been left behind by a cluster explosion that occurred this Thursday in the Russian city of Voronezh.

The episode took place in the heart of the city and was recorded by the security camera of another bus behind it.

Initial information shows that three of the injured were in serious condition this Thursday evening.

There were 35 passengers in the vehicle and after the explosion the bus eventually burned to the ground.

Early versions reported a gas tank explosion, but deputy head of the Ministry of Transport, Maxim Zajárov, said it was running on Diesel, according to published information. RT.

The bus driver told local media that the explosion occurred at a stop as passengers boarded the unit.

“While the cause of the explosion is being investigated, all the special services are working on the ground. First of all, I want to express my support for all injured. All the necessary assistance will be provided to them ”, declared the governor of the region, Alexandre Gusev.
