The Dorian, which is currently on the Abaco Islands, continues to operate in the Bahamas and approaches the US coast. The size and magnitude of the hurricane – of magnitude 5 – were captured in an impressive snapshot posted on Twitter that quickly became viral.
In the picture, hooked by Meteorologist and Air Force Garret Black Hurricane Hunter You can see the bright sun in the blue sky framed in the middle of the storm. In a corner of the snapshot, you can see part of an American Air Force aircraft.
