Villarrica volcano: how can this affect its eruption in Argentina

From various points in the regions of Araucanía and Los Ríos, Chile, the fumaroles which comes from the crater of Villarrica Volcano (1,847 meters above sea level) and a visible glow from the cameras that monitor it during the 24 hours from which the ballistic pyroclasts emission is also appreciated. Yellow is emitted when a phenomenon occurs that can cause disasters and cause damage to a considerable number of people. The volcano Villarrica has an open crater 200 m in diameter, and one of the historic records of eruptions in South America (49 since 1558, the latest in 2015). The ski center of Pucon (below) and hot springs Geometric, two important places of tourist attraction. To his skirts are the lakes Calafquen and Pullingue, and the locations of Pucura and Coñaripe, all about 800 kilometers south of Santiago.

Although it is impossible to know in advance, if the eruption of 2015 recurred, the evacuation of the magma to the surface had an approximate height of one kilometer and generated an eruptive column rising between six and eight kilometers from the summit. The dispersion of this column depends on the winds. It could affect some cities in our country depending on its direction. In regards to Lanín Volcano, Villarica is about 47 km and the Pacific Ocean 110 km to the west.
