In this tourist area of ​​the French capital, dozens of stores were damaged and some were even looted and burned. The march of the "yellow vests" started in Paris and other cities of France last November, after the increase of public protest against the increase of fuels.

The move led to a broader protest, even though Macron rejected some of his measures.
