Viral Optical Illusion: Is this image in black and white or in color?

The artist worked on a series of optical illusions called "illusion of the grid of color badimilation" It is a technique in which a grid works as a color fill inside each box. It's an illusion that works with both horizontal lines and points; and in turn, it is best to appreciate if the image is small.

"Small color pieces of the parts of the image in grayscale, it works better on a smaller scale, and when you look at other parts of the image"explains the software developer.

Kolås was inspired by David Novick, an engineer from the University of Texas, who also created a viral image in which some spheres seemed to be of different colors when they were really brown and that colored grids confused our perception.

The drawing seems to have four blue, four red and four green spheres. However, the 12 are brown.

"This affects our perception of the background color, so the blue stripes on a yellow circle tend to give the circle a green appearance.This type of effect depends, of course, on the proximity between the foreground bands, "Novick explained on this occasion.
