Jimmy Joe and Dalton Mort knew that it was essential that their daughter Ellora, two years old, participate in the ceremony that would unite them as husband and wife. For this reason, Dalton had the original idea of ​​wearing it on his back with a colorful rebozo that touched everyone.

According to the first mother, they wanted to integrate Ellora into marriage to show that marriage was a commitment to the family. "We really wanted her to attend the ceremony, because we thought the wedding was a commitment for our family and for our own relationship," Dalton said.

In addition, there were practical problems. The ceremony consisted of a complete Catholic Mbad, lasting 45 minutes, scheduled during the usual Ellora siesta time. As a result, Dalton felt that the girl would be more comfortable with her mother than with any other family member.

And in fact, it was. Ellora is asleep 20 minutes during the ceremony. At nap time, her mother held her in her arms while her husband, Jimmy, pronounced his wishes. "It was very special for us," said Dalton.
