When are the next holidays | Days off …

Counting this Saturday May 1st six public holidays have already passed so far in 2021. For what follows, we will have to wait 23 days. It is Tuesday 25 May, the date on which the May Revolution Day is celebrated, and the Monday May 24, vacation for tourist purposes, so the two will form an extra long weekend.

The other four-day weekend of the year for the accumulation of holidays will take place from Friday 8 to Monday 11 October (Day of respect for cultural diversity).

The government has established in this year’s calendar a third public holiday for tourism purposes on Monday, November 22. Added to Saturday, the Sovereign’s National Day, and the Sunday preceding it, a long weekend is formed but of only three days.

Holidays for tourist purposes were fixed by Decree 947, signed by President Alberto Fernández and published in the Official Journal. This decree provided that these days are at the service of “reducing the negative effects of the seasonality of the tourist sector, by trying to distribute them over time”.
