Of the competition Five teams composed of Argentinian ice cream teachers participated with extensive professional experience in the sector, coming from several points of the country. The challenges facing the contest were a decorated cup, a "mystery box" and an iced cake.

The jury was chaired by the Italian master Sergio Dondoli, who participated in the "Latin American ice cream" in which the Argentinian team was champion and managed to qualify for the World Cup in Italy, accompanied by national referees such as Anunciada Pinto, Sandra Bortolot, Pablo Manoff and Mario Aban Cruz.

The elements to be evaluated were the same as those of the Latin America Cup and the winning tandem has the right to be part of the national team project, for the next Latin American championship.

They participated in the contest "Once upon a time", composed of Fernando Mujica (Santiago del Estero) and Rocío Milagros Sandez (federal capital); "Arte Gelato", with Rosario and Micaela Sofía Scime; "The Marplatenses", with Patricio Sánchez and Lorenzo Aldo Rafael; "De Cuatro", Sanjuaninos Nieto, and "Patagonian", which debuted with Karina Muller and Nicolás Dell & # 39; Aquila.

Each team chose a theme: Once upon a time, he chose "Los cuentos infantiles", Arte Gelato "Rosarinos", Los Marplatenses "Ara San Juan", De Cuatro chose "Los Andes" and Patagones for "Porteños". All candidates received a medal and a diploma of participation. The first three places were cash purses and travel.

The Cup was organized by the Association of Craftsmen Making Ice Cream and Related Products (Afadhya) and the Argentine Federation of Pastry, Pastry, Glacier, Pizzero and Alfajoreros (Fatpchpya) Workers.
