More than 70 UK MPs, including Conservatives and Labor, have launched a campaign against the possible introduction of so-called vaccination ‘passports’, which the government is considering to open up the economy.

The campaign, involving some lords and the former Labor leader Jeremy corbyn, search prevent the publication of this document as it is considered “a source of division and discrimination”.

The Conservative government of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, evaluate the possible issuance of a type of certificate stating that a person has been vaccinated against the coronavirus, has antibodies because they have already overcome COVID-19 disease or has a negative PCR test.

If this plan is successful, the document could be required to enter, for example, bars or restaurants.

The executive, however, indicated that there is no final decision on this certificate, which would apply in England, but which is also discussed with the other Autonomous Authorities in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

“We oppose certification on the COVID disease because it is divisive and discriminatory and denies individuals access to general services, businesses and jobs.”said a note from this campaign, quoted this Friday by local media.

This initiative has received the support of humanitarian organizations such as Freedom, Big Brother Watch and the Joint Council for the Welfare of Immigrants (JCWI).

In addition, it coincides with the information on the refusal of certain sectors of the society of the country to be vaccinated against the coronavirus.
