New Nissan kicks was officially presented on February 25 at the Jockey Club of San Pablo, in south-eastern Brazil, by means of a shocking drone show which lit up the night sky of the metropolis.
Unprecedented in South America, the innovative show presented by the Japanese brand consisted of 400 drones who followed a complex 13-minute choreography, in which the main aspects of the vehicle were highlighted: its new design and high-tech equipment.
The presentation was inspired by the attitude and personality which are the unmistakable traits of the new Nissan Kicks.
To achieve the synchronization of the drones and for the show to go perfectly, complex programming was done that could be compared to what a musical composer does who writes a symphony: each drone had its own “score”, a specific flight plan which consisted in determining its exact position in the general harmony of the composition.
At a time, each of the drones worked as if it were a pixel, changing color to assemble the different images that were drawn in the night of San Pablo. The maximum space they occupied in flight was 200 meters long by 100 high and 100 deep, which makes it what could be described as the biggest screen in the world. In addition, all of the figures were performed approximately 120 meters above the ground, giving great visibility from a distance for all those walking around, and resulting in an exclusive audience for those who inhabit the modern skyscrapers that surround the area. .
At the end of the show, the new Nissan Kicks was finally unveiled and some of its most notable technologies were unveiled, such as the BOSE Premium Sound System with speakers in the headrest and Safety Shield 360 °, a suite of semi-autonomous driver assistance technologies.
The show was streamed throughout Brazil and was in charge of a world-famous French company, Dronisios, which mobilized 10 people and half a ton of equipment in São Paulo, which included the 400 drones, 1,200 batteries and other equipment.
The new Nissan Kicks is manufactured at the industrial complex in Resende, in the state of Rio de Janeiro, and was the brand’s first vehicle in the region to incorporate the Nissan Intelligent Mobility vision, through which the Japanese brand seeks to transform the way vehicles are driven, driven and integrated into society.
