The "yellow vests", which reject the economic policy of the French president Emmanuele Macron, they began their 12th Saturday demonstration in Paris and other cities in the Gallic country to denounce police violence in France.
"The problem today is the police violence because it is unbearable, they forbid us to protest and they shoot us without reason, there is a great repression, there are many wounded. we are born as a pacifist movement and this violence is not understood ", said Mr. Leduc, 36, one of the participants.
The march started from the Place de Daumesnil, in the south-east of the French capital, at midday, towards Plaça de la Republique, north-east of Paris.
The demonstrations began on November 17 to denounce rising fuel prices and loss of purchasing power in several French cities such as Bordeaux, Toulousse, Lyon, Rennes, Nantes, among others.
Leduc, a resident of the Paris suburbs, wore an escutcheon in tribute to protesters who lost an eye because of rubber bullets fired by police during protests.
The march was followed by Jérôme Rodrigues, one of the symbols of the movement that was touched by police last week.
