You can already vote for the best artisanal ice cream in the city – 23/02/2019

The vote, organized by the BA Capital Gastronómica program, is open until March 11th. Do not forget that since you can only opt for the listed places, many clbadics have been left out. The winning glacier will be announced on March 14th.

Authentic homemade ice cream It is made with fresh raw materials, without flavors, dyes and preservatives. And this is done with natural processes (washing, peeling, pressing) in which the different stages are controlled to obtain a final product with an adequate texture, flavor and quality. Each glacier has its stamp and its specialties.

You can vote through the Facebook account of BA Capital Gastronomic and Citizen Participation. Enter also directly into this form. Those who do so will access a draw of ten vouchers for two kilos of ice cream each in the winning place.

During the contest period, you can request the "BA Gastronomic Capital" discount on the participating sites. This gives you access to a kilogram of free ice cream when you buy a kilo or a 2X1 at the purchase of the kilo on days 4, 5 and 6 March, depending on the promotion to which the place has adhered.

According to a study conducted by the consultant Alessio IROL at the request of AFADHYA, the chamber of the sector, 83.25% of Argentineans consume artisbad ice during the different seasons of the year. In summer, it is consumed by 9 Argentinean out of 10, spring 8 out of 10 and in autumn and winter 7 out of 10.

The 1 kilo pot remains the preferred ice cream format (31%), with ¼ kilo (24%) and cone (17%). In terms of taste, confectionery milk granita and chocolate with almonds are favorites as the ¼ kilo ideal for Argentines.

The new contest comes after the Best Hamburger, Best Still Life Milanese, Best Remarkable Coffee, Best Grill and Best Pizzeria, in which more than 100 thousand inhabitants voted.
