On April 9, Vice-President Marta Lucía Ramírez attacked the regime of Nicolás Maduro and has already received a strong response. The official assured that, “Without democracy in Venezuela, there will never be a legal and lasting peace, which we Colombians and all Latin Americans demand and deserve. With the Maduro regime, we have a real threat to the whole hemisphere “.
Likewise, he called for a verification by the Organization of American States (OAS), to clarify what is really going on in the neighboring country, as he insists that the humanitarian crisis that Venezuelans are experiencing requires attention. of the international community.
The vice-president also linked drug trafficking to Maduro’s regime, as President Iván Duque himself has repeatedly denounced, claiming that this illegal economy has entered this country “because deliberately the Chávez regime, and now the Maduro dictatorship, have been complacent and complicit in drug trafficking, because they are part of this illegal activity ”.
Finally, Ramírez affirmed that there is an alliance between Maduro, Diosdado Cabello and the dissidents of the FARC, Iván Márquez and Jesús Santrich, members of the so-called “Narcotalia”. “We are living in a gangster war, as President Duque said”, said the Colombian vice-president.
Before these statements, the vice-president of Chavista Delcy Rodríguez responded forcefully, even associating the vice-president with drug trafficking. “The word plays bears her name Marta Lucía Ramírez. You, directly involved in the relatives of drug traffickers, who practice drug trafficking and you are rooted in Colombian paramilitarism, do not even have the moral position to name the worthy daughter of Bolívar: Venezuela! “said the regime official.
It all started because Diosdado Cabello assured on his TV show that the border conflict was Colombia’s responsibility and attacked social communicators, assuring that they want to make the world believe that the Colombian government is helping Venezuelans.
The socialist leader said the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) would continue to give an “energetic response” to Apure’s conflict with dissident guerrillas from the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (Farc).
“It has been clear and forceful and will continue to be so, a special brigade has been created to conduct special operations in the area with all the necessary equipment to combat these paramilitary groups,” Cabello underlined in his program “Con el malzo give”.
Cabello has ignored multiple complaints against the Venezuelan military that keep the people in a constant state of anxiety after intimidating and threatening them as the guerrillas continue to do their thing in the town of La Victoria.
However, the Foreign Minister of the Nicolás Maduro regime, Jorge Arreaza, violently attacked the Colombian state and blamed it for the difficult border situation between neighboring countries. In his statements, the official pointed out that Colombia had given up its limits with Venezuela and even called the neighboring nation a“Narco-state”.
“Colombia is a narco-state and no one can deny it, in Colombia there are cartels, there are clans, there are organized crime structures”, Arreaza claimed in his official speech in which he even claimed that the only country covered by drug trafficking in the world was Colombia.
