Young cyclist killed at close range in broad daylight on New York street

Shocking video captured by security cameras at a store new York, United States, shows a young man who aimed at a man on a bicycle and shot him at close range. The event happened in Brooklyn Wednesday at 2:20 p.m. in front of a store on Clarkston Avenue and East 53rd Street in East Flatbush. The victim is Simeon Pierrot, 21, who received several gunshots to the chest and left forearm. He lived only one block from the scene of the shooting.

“Left home to buy a drink and never came backSaid a family member. After the incident, he was taken to Kings County Hospital, but medics were unable to save him and he died from gunfire. Investigators believe the shooting was linked to gang issues, as Simeon identified himself as a member of the Crips on his Facebook page.

His relatives offered a different image of Simeon, describing him as a generous and hardworking young man who was a cashier at Walgreen Pharmacy. “We can’t believe it. He was the youngest, ”said a relative, referring to Simeon and his brothers. The parent did not want to give his name. “He was very respectful, kind and down to earth. He was always ready to help, ”said the relative.

The family claimed that they had no idea that anyone could have motives to kill him. “He went to the store to buy a drink or a soda or water.”

So far, there have been no arrests for the shooting, which comes at a time when New York has been hit by a series of similar events. Six people were shot dead in two incidents in Brooklyn Thursday night, including a triple shooting in front of a pizza restaurant. A 25-year-old man was shot in the buttocks.
