Phillip Resnick, forensic psychologist at Florida State University (FSU), said that Austin Harrouff, a former student of this university, he thought it was "half-dog and half-man" when he stabbed a couple in his house and then he started biting the face of one of the victims.

Harrouf is charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of attempted murder for the death of John Stevens, 59 years old and Michelle mishcon, 53, at his home near the town of Jupiter, in Palm Beach County, north of Miami.

In the forensic report that Palm Beach Post had access to, Resnick concluded that Harrouff was an "active psychotic".

The young man, now 22 years old, persisted in biting the man "in the presence of police and despite threats of gunfire and multiple kicks to the head"says the report released this week by the Martin County Tax Office.

The events occurred at the doors of Stevens' garage, less than an hour after Harrouff gave up a restaurant where he dined with his parents after arguing with his father, a dentist.

To reduce Harrouff and remove him from the lifeless body of Stevens, it took four policemen. Previously, one of them had shot him with an electric gun, but that did not stop him from biting the victim's face.

Jeffrey Fisher, a neighbor of the victims, who called the 911 emergency number to alert the police, was also stabbed several times by the young man while he was trying to defend his marriage.

The first blood tests done on the young man to determine whether he had consumed "flakka" before the attack, a potent synthetic drug originating in China and causing many deaths in Florida, or a type of bath salt, gave also a negative effect on these drugs such as marijuana and cocaine.

Doctors who initially witnessed the case said that Harrouf had told them that he had only smoked marijuana and drank alcohol that night and then told them : "Kill me, I want to die, kill me."

According to court documents, Harrouff told the police that "eaten humans" and he asked for help, since he could not breathe.
