20-year-old wanted to commit assault “like a joke” to post on his channel Youtube, but the victim defended himself and shot him.

The unfortunate event occurred in a parking lot of an adventure park in the city of Nashville (United States).

The intention of Timothy Wilks, along with a friend, was to arrive on site and simulate the flight of a group of people to film it.

However, David Starnes, 23, “victim” of the assault, he saw strangers approaching with butcher’s knives and did not hesitate to take out the weapon he was carrying and shoot them.

In this way, Wilks was shot and a police investigation was opened. So far, it is not known if Starnes had permission to use the weapon.

In his statement to authorities, he assured that he did not know it was a joke and claimed that it was self defense.
