YouTube and Gmail record intermittent drops around the world

Registered with Google a fall at the international level this Sunday afternoon. In Argentina, the services of the Internet giant began to work with disadvantages after 16 years and since then their products have defects and interruptions, among which stand out YouTube.

The platform that belongs to the American society did not allow video playback for several minutes and even live transmissions from users around the world have been interrupted. For a few minutes, the services were standardized and then returned to the current outages and functioned partially.

The defects were recorded in different platforms that belong to Google. Besides YouTube, Gmail services, Google Drive, Analytics – the signature tool to measure statistics from a website – and Google Play – the download center for Android phones – have also been interrupted.

Immediately, the users began to express themselves on social networks, to comment on the fall of the platform. "It seems that everything that is based on Google has been abandoned", wrote a woman on her Twitter account.

The largest region where problems are reported in the east and northeastern United States (cities such as New York, Washington, Boston, Baltimore, Richmond, Pittsburgh) and Canada (Montreal, Toronto, Quebec, Halifax), according to the portal Downdetector.

"We are experiencing many network congestion issues in the eastern United States that affect several Google Cloud, GSuite and YouTube services," a company spokesman told TN.com.ar, confirming the dysfunction of the platform.

In addition, Google said that users "could meet intermittent errors and poor performance. "We think we have identified the problem and hope to solve it quickly," they closed.
