Honda rider Lorenzo, who is still recovering from wrist and rib injuries, said Thursday that he would be "extremely" careful not to fall again to Rio Hondo's Termas.

Lorenzo signed the 11th qualifying time, but his fastest lap was erased for having rolled into turn 14, which he acknowledged was a "fair" penalty.
