Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals are real. They showed it to us in week 1 when they knocked out the Tennessee Titans. Now they did the same to the Rams, who had just put in a dominant performance against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers a week ago.
Murray was still awesome. He was 24 for 32 for 268 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for almost 40 yards as well. The Cardinals’ running game really took over and made a difference yesterday. The team had 216 rushing yards, led by 120 yards from Chase Edmonds.
All all day it seemed like the Rams’ defense was at the mercy of whatever Kliff Kingsbury and Murray wanted to do. And it’s not like this defense is a darling, this unit just gave out fits in Tampa Bay last week. But Murray’s explosiveness and guns on the outside and in the backfield were just too much for the boys in Los Angeles to handle.
The Rams will bounce back from this game and progress better, you can be sure. The Rams and Cardinals are both very good and I think their next meeting will be much closer in scoring. The Cardinals defense won’t be able to keep Matthew Stafford and Sean McVay to just 20 points.
The point is, these two teams are Super Bowl contenders and have the knack to win it all. They both have MVP leaders behind the center, they both have away playmakers and they both have defenses that can show themselves when needed. It’s crazy that one of these teams has to lose the division.

I wouldn’t be surprised if these two teams found a way to be in the NFC Championship game.
