Arizona Cardinals survive thanks to missed baskets against Minnesota Vikings

The Arizona Cardinals came off a draw today and it ultimately cost them dearly.

Defensively, the team started slow, then Kyler Murray came out in the second half and threw a bad pick that Nick Vigil returned for a touchdown.

It was lousy, it was ineffective and it was a 34-33 win for the Cardinals.

That’s all that matters to the team, even if it feels like they didn’t win it.

Instead, you had a huge day for Kyler Murray in the stats column, finishing 29/36 for 400 yards, 3 touchdowns and two interceptions to go along with a rushed touchdown.

That’s nine touchdowns this season for Murray.

However, the defense essentially threw a shutout in the second half, as Kyler threw in pick six, while Tanner Vallejo handed the punter a penalty to allow the Vikings to score three more points.

It was the offense that struggled in the second half, missing an opportunity to shut down the Vikings.

The offensive line struggled particularly today.

Still, the Arizona Cardinals won and are 2-0 ahead of a clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

That’s all that matters.
