Governor Ducey announced Monday that Arizona will open eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine to all residents 16 years of age and older starting Wednesday, March 24.

Registration for state-run vaccination sites in Maricopa, Pima and Yuma counties will open at 8 a.m. on Wednesday.
“Our goal has been and remains to bring the vaccine to the community as quickly, widely and fairly as possible,” Governor Ducey said. “With a thorough review of immunization data, forecast vaccine supply and current demand among priority groups, now is the time to take the crucial next step.”
Vaccination sites administering the Pfizer vaccine, including those run by the state, will be able to immunize Arizonans aged 16 and over.
Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, which are supplied to counties, are approved for ages 18 and over.
As of Monday, March 22, nearly three million doses were administered in Arizona. Over a million Arizonans have been fully immunized.
